Fox Run Stables offers a
special summer camp for Howe Military Cadets. This camp
correlates with the Howe Military school schedule, so call us for
exact dates. This program is designed for beginner or
intermediate riders. We work on all aspects of horsemanship
with utmost safety in mind. Starting with the basic principles
of just being around horses to over fences if so
desired.
Fox Run Stables offers top quality
horses. we have a variety of breeds that are used in our
English riding program. Students are matched with the horse
that fits their personality and riding ability. We stress
safety first. We have a new indoor riding arena with heated
viewing room and bathrooms. We also have a small tack and
clothing store on the premises to assist in outfitting students in
proper attire, if so desired. |
The cadet may attend either the three week
or the whole six week summer program. They will obtain a total
of 6 hours of instructions per three week session. The classes
are designed with the novice rider in mind and we cover basics in
grooming, tacking, riding, and general horse care. The cost of
the program is $150.00 per three week session. This includes
transportation, lessons, and equipment. Class size will be limited
to first come.
For safety reasons, the rider will be
required to wear a helmet and boots. Howe Military School will
provide helmets, but the student will be required to provide their
own boots with a heel. This can be similar to a hiking
boot.
We look forward to meeting you and your
cadet, and sharing our knowledge and love of
horses!
